The tourist market in the UK continues to grow, attracting significant numbers from overseas looking to sample the tradition and history of the UK. One of the main elements which appears to attract significant interest from overseas is the diversity of the UK with the hustle and bustle of London compared to the Highlands and islands of Scotland with the Lake District offering the opportunity for hill walkers and ramblers to enjoy the UK countryside at its best.
